There is a footbath a little away.There are fewer buses to Zao Ski Area than Yamagata Station.There is a free bus to Zao's Mitake (although there is a charge for the lift), and there are only 2 flights. Cheaper than going from Shiroishi Zao.If it is slow, the connection is bad (the Shinkansen is well connected), so there is a possibility that you will have to wait at the station.
